Sherwood (Andy) Richers was born in Albuquerque New Mexico in 1960. Andy received a BS in Geology and worked as a controls engineer on missile and aircraft guidance systems eventually being promoted into senior management. Andy spent a few years alone discerning his future while becoming very active in his local parish. His heart was calling him to mission work but didn’t know how to start on that path.

As a widower with four grown children, he met his wife Rina and retired early from his career to begin a new path creating and managing Saratoga Urgent Care and Richers Hope Charities. Rina provided the knowledge and guidance he needed to pursue mission work.
